I use it for a lot of my shopping, but I'm starting to worry it might affect my ability to get a mortgage later. Does anyone know for sure?

No ! It has no affect on your credit..I have used karma many times no problem. I love it. Because it is interest free there is no need for credit.
I am not sure...I don't think when I was using Klarna it impacted my score. But I caution you about using it because my experience with them was horrible! After having absolutely no issues with them for years, they double charged me for an item I purchased. I didn't realize it until I paid it off and noticed it was on there twice and they were asking for payment. I showed them where I had already paid it off, I had Amazon verify that it was paid off and still got phone calls and emails saying my payment was past due. They didn't believe me or Amazon. I deleted the app and removed my bank info from them and haven't looked back. I now use afterpay.
